The West Maui Taxpayers Association (WMTA) is presenting their 2016 Candidates Night on Thursday, Aug. 25. All candidates that will appear on the West Maui ballot have been invited to attend (though Mayor McCheese, pictured here, is not actually up for reelection this year and thus not expected to attend). Here’s a chance to learn about many of them and the issues affecting West Maui. There will be a dinner provided by local restaurants and the event will be broadcasted live on Akaku.
